Bobby Dale Boubel

October 10, 1962 - May 4, 2022

Bobby Boubel entered eternal rest on May 4, 2022, at the age of 59. He was born on October 10, 1962 to Marvin Sr. and Mary Jane (Greenall) Boubel. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Elizabeth Fischer, Evelyn Wilkes, Roy Boubel and James Boubel. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of over 23 years, Linda James Boubel; daughters Sheena Hamaker, Allison Prihoda (Sam) and Destiny Boubel; sister Linda Harris; brothers Marvin Boubel Jr., Steve Boubel and Gary Boubel; grandchildren, Kyrroll Prihoda, Justin Prihoda, Hunter Prihoda and Tanner Kluth; other loving family members and friends. Bobby grew up on the Southside of San Antonio. He was an amazing Christian, husband, father, grandfather, friend and musician. He spent his life ministering bringing joy to others through music as a drummer. He was a Pearl Wrangler with Adolph Hofner and also played with Charly McClain and Johnny Bush. He spent the last 35+ years of his life playing locally with Bimbo and Borderline. He loved his church family at Brookhill Baptist, music, family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 5:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Brookhill Baptist Church, 631 Utopia Lane. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
