Clara Rosa Ramos
November 8, 1952 - April 2, 2022
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Clara Rosa Ramos went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2022, at the age of 69. She was born on November 8, 1952 in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Etelvina Ritz; brothers, Rene Niño and Mario Ritz, and grandson, Isaiah Christian. Clara is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ruben M. Ramos; 4 sons, Gabriel Morales, Edward Morales (Brisa), Ruben Rene Ramos (Veronica) and Stephen Daniel Ramos (Elise); 12 grandchildren, Gabriel Mario Morales Jr., Victoria Morales, Elizabeth Morales, Stephen Edward Morales, Johnathon Morales, Cassandra Morales, Isabel Morales, Victoria Luevano, Ruben Rene Ramos Jr, Stephen Daniel Ramos Jr., Adelina Sophia Ramos and Arriana Serene Ramos; 5 great-grandchildren, AJ, Jotham, Ralphie, Alex and Noah; siblings, Larry Garcia (Mary Anne) and Julia Aguilar (Tony); nieces and nephews, Sandy, Larry, Joey, Roxanne and Bobby, and other extended family members and friends. She loved her family beyond words and doted on her grandchildren every chance she was able. She was the word of reason and at times the word that would remind you of your path and sure footing on it. And if any doubt, pray to the Lord, she would instruct. She planted the seeds of faith in her sons, and all that she met. She would tell you she had a full life and enjoyed the times in it, especially the time with the ones she loved the most, her family. She loved gardening and would give advice if she saw a plant turning into compost in the front yard, or in a pot by the front door, she would give instructions on how to keep it alive and if you did so, alive they would be. She enjoyed the games of pickup basketball, no matter her age. You would know she was there with the occasional pinch on the side of your arm. A pinch her boys knew all too well. She loved a good game of cards, Spades being her favorite. Competing in tandem with her daughter-in-law, chanting, “Girls Rule and Boys Drool!” and would then politely stick out her tongue. She would bring her sons’ families and extended family together for holidays. Making all the dishes she knew they loved from her Mother’s Day BBQ, ambrosia, carrot cake, coconut cake at Easter and sandies cookies at Christmas. She would make sure all were full when at her table and before you left you would take more. She was gracious to all. Among all that she will be remembered most for the way she would happily look at her boys when arriving, with her hands to the side of your face, followed by a kiss on the cheek. To us, it will be missed the most. She has gone to our Lord’s Kingdom, where she does not know pain, nor sickness, nor hurt. But in the presence of Jesus, only joy, love, along with the presence of all previous loved ones. She has been made new beyond what we could ever imagine. For us that are here, she will be remembered as she was, the loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. We Love You Always! Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Mission Park South. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
