Genaro Palomares Jr.

Genaro Palomares, Jr entered eternal rest on April 4, 2022, at the age of 73. He was born on February 16, 1949 in San Marcos, Texas to Genaro, Sr. and Eva (Villalpando) Palomares. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evangelina; and brother, David. Genaro is survived by his loving wife of 20+ years Cristina Palomares; daughter, Mandy Mendez (Adam); sons, Henry Palomares and Steven Vallejo (Monique Garza); sister, Rosemary; brothers, Edward, Robert, Gilbert, and Albert; grandchildren, Nehemiah Mendez, Aiden Mendez, Noah Mendez, Luke Vallejo, Anthony Requenez, Katelynn Palomares, and Leah Carrington; great-granddaughter, Adaline Requenez; other loving family members and friends. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. He was always willing to help any one in need. On his spare time he enjoyed watching golf, online shopping, conversing and joking with his friends over drinks. His favorite time of the year were the holidays, where he would gather with family. He will greatly be missed. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with a prayer service to be held at 6:30 P.M. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
