Montecinos Jr. lived a fulfilling and earnest life before passing away at the age of 73 on March 6th. His passing was as the way came into this world, naturally and surrounded by those who loved him. Born in 1948, Joe lived his younger years in San Antonio, TX where he met the love of his life, Mary. Together they joyfully spent a wonderful 52 years of marriage. With this loving wife, he dedicated his life to raising 3 sons: Enrique, Joe III, and Sergio. He always put the extra effort to be an upstanding man for not only his family but as a devoted man to God: he was a faithful member of the St. Mary Magdalen Church Family Ministry, ACTS, Men in Christ, and Knights of Columbus #9902. Although he has left this Earth, he will never leave the hearts and minds of the many people he has loved and who love him. He is now in the loving, warm arms of God, thriving in the Holy Heaven above among the rest of the angels. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten by his family: his brother Harry, sisters JoAnn, Sylvia, and Josie Linda, and his numerous nieces and nephews. Furthermore, thanks to his and Mary’s love, he now has 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 more due in June who will continue to follow by the loyal, brave, and true example he has set for them all these years. Any photos you care to share of your memory of him or their 50th wedding Anniversary please feel free to post.
