    Karen Dean "Jingles" Sosenka

    December 25, 1962 - March 29, 2022

Karen Dean “Jingles” Sosenka, was born in San Antonio, Tx. on December 25th, 1962 to Evona Maxine “Snooky” Haynes and Pierce Leroy “Pee Wee” Hoekstra. Jingles was called to her heavenly home March 29th, 2022 at the age of 59. Jingles is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, John Sosenka. Her sisters Brenda Kay LaGrone and husband Tommy LaGrone, Debbie Lynn Granato and husband Ken Granato, Susan Gail Aldridge and brother John Albert Hoekstra and wife Lisa Hoekstra along with numerous nieces and nephews. Everyone that knew Jingles, knew her by the name Jingles. She rarely if ever introduced herself by her given name, Karen. It was always Jingles. And family gave her the last name of Bells. “Jingle Bells”. Jingles career started in the credit department at The Perry Shankle Co. and then moved to Mars Pluming Co. where she became credit manager and worked for a number of years and continued working with the new owners The Nolan Co. Jingles had a tremendous love for family. She was a dedicated wife to her husband, John Sosenka. She was a loving and caring sister, aunt, and friend. Jingles did not have children of her own but was like a mother to all her nieces and nephews who she loved and cared for very much. She also loved and cared for her animals, their dog Daisy and their cat Lucky Butt who were like her children. Jingles also enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb when it came to her plants. She enjoyed sharing her beautiful flowers and vegetables with family and friends. Their back yard looked like a botanical garden. In the mornings, Jingles enjoyed sharing spiritual devotionals with family.
