Leonor Elma Gonzalez

April 19, 1936 - February 16, 2022

Leonor Elma Gonzalez went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2022 at the blessed age of 85, in San Antonio, TX. Leonor was born on April 19, 1936 in Cd. Anahuac Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Leonor has reunited with her husband, Jose Maria Gonzalez, her daughter Leonorcita Gonzalez, her parents, Eulalio and Leonor Lozano, and by many close family and friends that she loved dearly. Leonor is survived by her five children; Jose Alberto Gonzalez, Maria Gladys Gonzalez, Leticia Gonzalez Farias (Jimmy), Jesus Angel Gonzalez and Elizabeth Gonzalez; five grandchildren, Carlo Maximiliano Gonzalez, Alan Nataniel Gonzalez, Andres Miguel Farias (Maryssa), Alejandro Manuel Farias and Joseph Zachary Gonzalez; two great-grandchildren, Amelia Rae Farias, and Lucas Matthew Farias; and other extended family members and friends. Leonor was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, neighbor, caretaker, and friend to many. Leonor enjoyed caring for her family, sewing, gardening, quilting, caring for children and caring for neighbors. Every evening she looked forward to catching up on the daily activities with her beloved friend Alicia. For the past two years we were gifted a special angel Mari Cruz that assisted in her care. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral procession will depart Mission Park South at 12:30 p.m. for a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
