Leopoldo R. Belmares, age 78, entered into rest on December 10, 2021. He was born on June 2, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas. He retired from SMT Freight Lines after 32 years as a truck driver. Mr. Belmares was preceded in death by his parents Baldemar Belmares and Isabel Reyes; daughter Carmen Belmares; sister Maria; brothers Ramiro and Eddie. He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Ann Belmares; daughters Cynthia Belmares, Susan Bayless; step daughter Melissa Tovar; sons Daniel Belmares, James Belmares; step son Michael Morales; sisters Lucia and Anita; brother Jimmy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many other family members and friends. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. SERVICES Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 followed by a recited Rosary at 10:00 AM and a Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 236 E.
