Lupe Guerra Leija

Lupe Guerra Leija, 59, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, February 10th 2022. He will be cherished by those he left behind— his loving wife of 41 years, Maria S. Leija; his two daughters, Ishshah S. Leija (Tiffany) , Gyne S. Leija; his father Tony (Lydia), his siblings Linda (Johnny), Earl (Tammy), and Briana, along with his nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many more who’s lives he touched. He was born on December 10th, 1962 to Gloria and Tony Leija in San Antonio, Tx. He graduated from East Central High School and went on to become a truck driver where he spent the next 39 years doing something he loved. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with them doing the things he enjoyed most— taking fishing trips, enjoying the outdoors, watching sports (whether they were winning or losing) and especially singing his favorite songs. He had many friends and due to his travels, met many more that loved his good spirit. He is preceded by his mother Gloria Guerra Leija, aunt and uncles and grandparents.
