Mary Helen Robles

October 12, 1936 - April 6, 2022

Mary Helen Anthony Robles went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 85. She was born on October 12, 1936, in Elmendorf, Texas to Alfredo D. and Ursula (Gutierrez) Anthony. She graduated from Harlandale High School in 1956. She continued her education at St Philips College to pursue her nursing degree as an LVN. She retired from the State Chest Hospital after 30 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, always keeping herself busy. Mary Helen enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Mary Helen was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jesse Anthony (Rosemary); great-granddaughter, Aryanna Robles; brothers-in-law, Lupe Viera and Joe Huizar; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Robles. Mary Helen is survived by her sons, Emil Jr. (Chris), Anthony (Norma), Marc, David (Maria), and Michael; siblings, Mary Louise Viera, George D. Anthony, Alfred Anthony Jr. (Grace), Connie LaQue, Josie Lopez (Victor), Janie Huizar and Arthur Anthony (Melissa); 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:30 A.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
