Richard Stephen Aijian

Richard Stephen Aijian stepped into heaven on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born in Atlanta, GA to Kaloust and Siroon Aijian on November 28th, 1929, Richard moved to New Orleans and eventually settled in San Antonio, TX where he lived a joy filled life modeled after his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Richard thrived on caring for others, faithfully serving in countless capacities; Sunday School, Boy Scouts, Outreach, Bible Dill, and more, while managing his Oriental Rug Business in Joske’s downtown San Antonio, and in retail stores in Texas as well as his antiques store in Olmos Park. True to his Armenian culture, Richard generously gave of his time and resources in local and overseas Missionary work as he cared for orphans, underprivileged, and anyone needing a smile and encouraging word. Richard is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Vicki, their children, Karla and Stephen, and grandchildren, Riley and Ransom and countless others who call him Father, Friend and Brother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AMAA, The Armenian Missionary Association of America.
