Roselinda V. Montoya, age 60, entered into rest on November 3, 2021. She was born on October 18, 1961 in Houston, TX. Roselinda was a very special woman, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Most know her as Rosie and to her family as Ro Ro. After graduating Burbank High School, Rosie went on to become a hair dresser. She loved her job and met many special friends throughout her career. She would havethe most fun working at Jesse’s salon and participating on theirFiesta float, were she would dance and have a goodtime. She enjoyed getting dress up, doing her hair and putting on her make-up for any occasion. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed being with her family & friends at cook outs and enjoying a cold one. She loved visiting her grandchildren and traveling out of town to visit her family. Rosie was such a sweet, kind hearted person and is missed dearly. We love you Rose, you will always hold a special place in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents Federico R. Montoya and Romana Vasquez; sisters Santos Pinon, Maria de Jesus Escobedo and Micaela Peavler; brothers Federico Montoya III and George V. Montoya; grandson Frederick D. Montoya. She is survived by her daughter Angelina Rose Montoya; son Felix Martin Montoya (Jeanie Delgado); sister Myrella Blanche Lucio (Martin Lucio); Sister in law: Narci Montoya. She is also survived by grandchildren Olivia J. Montoya and Joaquin F. Montoya; Isaac Lucio and numerous nieces and nephews; many other family members and friends.
