Rudolfo Gonzales Jr. Rudy was called home on May 7, 2022 at the age of 79 Rudy was born January 30, 1943 to the parents of Rudolfo Gonzales Sr. and Elisa Martinez. Rudolfo served honorably in the U.S. Army and dedicated 34 years of faithful and devoted years to Federal Civilian Service at Kelly A.F.B. San Antonio. He also received an Associates of Arts degree from St. Phillips College. Rudy dearly loved his Mother Elisa also known as Nani. (There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do for her.) After retiring from civil service Rudy worked in retail sales business for many years and was always known to be a very sharp dresser. He also loved traveling with Sarah as they would go on their many adventures throughout the country. Never staying idle, Rudy was always working on home projects. He will be forever known for his love of laughter and family gatherings. Rudy is preceded in death by his beloved Mother Elisa Martinez and Father Rudolfo Gonzales Sr. Brother Roy Gonzales (Josie) and Sisters Mary Whitehead (Charles) and Della Munoz (Juan). Rudolf is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sarah M. Gonzales and children: Rudy Gonzales III (Debbie), Margaret Everman (James), Marissa Lee (Mike), John Garza, Cynthia Garza (Edward) and Catherine Liberto (Tony) Grandchildren: David Alvarado, Amanda Alvarado, Tommy Gonzales, Kyle Gonzales, Axton Dellert, Stephen Dellert, Nicole Sailors, Also, Jaqueline Murillo, Madeline Garza, Michelle Hernandez, Marisa Kitchen, Andrew Garza, Danielle Zepeda, Sarah Ann Garza, Roxanne Joseph, Brianna Liberto, and Nicolas Liberto. All services will be held at Mission South Funeral Chapels South 1700 S.E. Military Dr SA,TX 78214 beginning with Visitation Tuesday, June 7* at 6:00 PM and a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be held Wednesday June 8' at 9:00 AM Followed by interment at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
