Hattie Corinne (Perry) Reando, lovingly known as TuTu, was called home to be with our Lord on June 7, 2024, at the age of 99. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, B.H. (Benny) Reando, her parents Joe and Anna Perry, her son BJ Reando, and grandson Clint Reando. Born on November 19, 1924, in San Antonio, Texas, Connie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake and retired from Kelly Field. Family, friends, and faith were her anchor. She was known for her door always being open and living life to the fullest. She was a faithful servant of God and a pillar of strength, kindness, and wisdom to all who knew her. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations. In addition to her role as a devoted family matriarch, Connie was passionate about church, country music, her yard, and fishing. She found solace and joy in the beauty of the world around her, often fishing with family and friends, and reflecting with the words, “Isn’t nature a wonderful thing?” She had a deep appreciation for the simple wonders of life. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Tkadlec, son Ronnie (Dana) Reando, grandchildren Bobby (Terri) Varner, Cyndi Schroat, Sherri (Heath) Humphrey, Brenda Gorrell, Brandi (Josh) Pick, and April (Perrin) Larsh, her 18 great-grandchildren Stephanie, DJ, Kristen, Lauren, Victoria, Briana, Sarah, Heather, Taylor, Travis, Sam, Sydney, Wyatt, Cody, Dillon, Cord, Shelby, Araminta, and her 13 great-great-grandchildren Corley, Casen, Colson, Kolton, Hunter, Shae, Kinsley, Christopher, Matthew, Elias, Colton, Alex, and William. Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their final respects. A graveside service will be held at San Fernando Cemetery #3 at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 14, 2024. A celebration to honor her life will be held at Cowboy Fellowship, Jourdanton, TX at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Cowboy Fellowship. As Connie embarks on her journey to eternal rest, her loved ones take comfort in knowing that she is now dancing on the streets of gold, rejoicing in the presence of Jesus.
