Marcus Daniel Avalos May 22, 2002 - October 21, 2023 Marcus passed away tragically on Saturday 21 October 2023. He was only 21 years old with his whole life still ahead of him. Marcus was so full of life and always loved being the center of attention. His laugh was contagious and always brought a smile to everyone around him. He was an amazing artist with phenomenal talent. Even at such a young age, his artwork was legendary. He loved collecting comic books with the “Joker” being his favorite DC character and “Venom” being his favorite Marvel character. He loved Transformers and his favorite one was Soundwave. He would always say he was born in the wrong era and wished that he would have been born in the 80s because they had all the best toys and cartoons back then. He was also a huge Star Wars fan, enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, listening to music, and dancing. His favorite holiday, by far, was Halloween. He loved everything about it, from carving pumpkins, to dressing up in costumes, and was a huge contributor and inspiration in building an annual haunted house. He looked forward to it every year. Marcus was a true blessing to everyone who knew him and brought joy and happiness to us all. He grew from a little kid into a kind, caring, and respectful young man who had so much to live for. Marcus will forever be missed… and never forgotten. Your passing will always be unbearable. Marcus is survived by his Father, Juan Avalos (Angelica M. Avalos), Siblings, Samantha R. Ortiz (Aaron M. Ortiz), Rueben Trejo, Celia Avalos, Marina Avalos; Mother, Brandy Rubiano (Benny Garcia), Siblings, Brandi Rain Walsh, Giovanni DeLaOssa; Grandparents, Modesto Avalos, Humberta Avalos; Aunts, Maria Avalos, Virginia Avalos; Uncle, Troy Lee; Cousins, Nicole Hernandez, Alyssa Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez Gone too soon to become an Angel. We all love and miss you Marcus… may you rest in peace. SERVICES Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Monday, October 30 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with a Rosary to be held at 6:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 31 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.
