Adolfo “Duffy” T. Arocha, born November 08, 1944 in San Antonio Texas to parents Alejandro & Victoria Terrazas Arocha; was preceded in death & reunited with the love of his life & wife of forty eight years Mary Lou Arocha, son David Arocha, youngest granddaughter Darian Leigh Pulido, sisters Eloisa Gaytan & Elissa Flores, & nephew Tony Cardenas Jr. Duffy is a Husband, Father, Grandfather & Brother to a proud family that is forever grateful to carry on his legacy with the endless beautiful memories that he bestowed upon each of us. Adolfo was a successful Salesman throughout the roads of Texas, in which he loved traveling with his family. He was a faithful, trustworthy friend to all that were lucky enough to have met him. Duffy enjoyed barbecuing with his friends at the deer lease & relaxing & fishing at the coast. He loved his beer & his Dallas Cowboys. He also loved spending his time at the casinos so much that he often said to several people, “Well, I hope when I do die I’m at the casino playing my maquinitas.” This indeed is exactly where he was & what he was doing when he passed through those golden gates of Heaven. Adolfo Arocha was a natural joke teller & told the best life stories. He was a great soul whose smile was as welcoming & warm as he was. Duffy will be greatly missed by all. Adolfo “Duffy” T. Arocha leaves behind two brothers; Jessie Arocha, Victor “Blackie” & wife Maria Arocha. One sister; Elvira & husband Tony Cardenas Sr. Two daughters; Cynthia & husband Charles Cuellar & Missy & husband Stephen Dickinson. Duffy aka “Grandpa” is survived by four granddaughters; Julie A. & husband Justin Parra, Stephanie M. & husband Rudy Martinez Jr., Melissa M. & husband Warren Tanneberger & Janice M. Flores. Six grandsons; Rick Flores, Michael A. Flores, Bo B. Hughes, Austin W. & wife Taylor Hughes, Jacob D. Pulido & Kristopher R. Flores. Five great granddaughters; Kayla Espinoza, Madison J. Parra, Alexi T. Quinby, Sage N. Cantu & Skye L. Parra. Three great grandsons; Rudy Martinez lll, Isaac J. Gomez & Clay W. Hughes. One great great granddaughter; Ava R. One great great grandson; John Thomas. Our family would like to thank everyone for all the condolences & well wishes on behalf of Adolfo Arocha. We appreciate your sympathy. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Brookehill funeral home at 711 SE Military Dr, San Antonio Texas 78214. Viewing will be held from 3-8 pm, with a prayer service commencing at 6:00 pm. Graveside Service at 11:00 am on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Mission Burial Park South.
