Andre Alec Baratin, a beloved son, husband, father, and friend, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Born on August 15, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas, Andre was the proud son of Alec and Olivia. Andre is preceded in death by his father, Alec, and is survived by his mother, Olivia Baratin, his beloved wife, Patti, and their treasured son, Ami. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Yvonne Contreras, and her husband, Juan, his brothers-in-law, Jesse Moreno and his wife, Pamela, and Gabriel Moreno and his wife, Anastasia, as well as his nieces and nephews: John Paul, Jessica, Jarett, Joseph, Gabriel, Isaac, Tristan, Jesse James, Madelyn, Jayden, Joseph, Dylann, and Meadow. In his journey through life, Andre discovered his soulmate in Patricia Moreno, whom he married and shared a beautiful bond of love and companionship with for 23 years. Their marriage was blessed with the birth of their cherished son, Ami, who brought immense pride and joy to Andre's life. As a devoted father, he showered Ami with love, support, and guidance, creating a deep and unbreakable bond that will endure forever. Andre was a dedicated and patient father, often taking Ami to the Witte Museum, Urban Air, or going for walks at the mission. They would also enjoy spending time in the backyard with their beloved boxer, Whiskey Blue. Andre will be remembered as a beacon of light and a pillar of strength. Professionally, Andre excelled as a dedicated and hardworking individual, spending almost 30 years at Citibank. He was respected in his community for his strong work ethic, integrity, and kindness. Apart from his professional achievements, Andre had a passion for riding his motorcycle, collecting knives and flashlights, but his greatest joy was being with Ami. Although Andre's physical presence may be gone, his spirit will continue to shine brightly, forever reminding us of the power of love, perseverance, and the lasting impact one individual can have on the world. He is mourned by his extended family, friends, and colleagues, whose lives he touched with his kindness, genuine warmth, and quick wit. A memorial service to celebrate Andre's life will be held on June 7, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will take place on June 8, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels, followed by internment at San Fernando Cemetery #2. Rest in peace, my love. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever live on in our hearts.
