A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Angela Wilborn Soto went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2021, at the age of 46. She was born on December 22, 1974 in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nasario and Demetria Gonzales and her Godfather, Joe R. Sanchez. Angela is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Felix Soto Jr.; parents, Roy V. Wilborn and Blanca Gonzales; in-laws, Felix and Juanita Soto Sr.; children, Felix Soto III, Jacob Anthony Soto and Destiny Marie Soto; 2 granddaughters, Alena Marie Soto and Amaya Snow Soto; 5 sisters, Valerie Ann Wilborn (Ruben), Jessica Wilborn (Andy), Jennifer Marie Wilborn, Tina Navarrette (Juan) and Amanda Navarrette; Godmother, Enriqueta Sanchez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Our mom, she worked as a provider and had a life before she got sick, even though she was limited to doing things in her life due to her illness, that didn’t stop her from giving us the unconditional love any mother/wife/grandma would give, that didn’t stop her from enjoying her days out with her husband, children, and grandchildren who she adored and loved dearly with all her heart. Despite the fact that she would get tired quickly and would be in pain, I saw that my little Alena gave her the motivation to keep moving and going out to enjoy the day. On her days off from dialysis she would be watching her TikTok videos on her app while sitting on the couch laughing at each one that she found funny, and that laugh was so contagious when I’d hear it in the next room, that made my heart happy, she enjoyed having her nails done every color and every design she can possibly think of, she would sit on the couch around 12-1pm everyday waiting for her soaps to come on and would watch numerous of her “Days of our lives, Young and the restless, and General Hospital”. Our mom couldn’t really do much but it was the thought that counts and the gestures, kindness and love she had for us, even when we bumped heads, the look in her eyes of love she had for her kids and husband and fear that she didn’t want anything to happen to any us, even when we disappointed her she still loved us no matter what and she showed it in any way possible, and that’s the same love we’re all craving right now and that’s something we’ll never get back, and will forever be a memory in our minds, until we meet again. Visitation will be on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
