Beatrice Vera Flores, beloved resident of Helotes, TX, suddenly passed away on October 29, 2023, in San Antonio, TX, surrounded by her family. Beatrice, affectionally known as Miss Bea, was born on October 26, 1946, in Bay City, Michigan, and made Helotes her home in 1970. Miss Bea’s commitment to the Helotes community began during her early years, where she volunteered at Helotes Elementary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and Helotes Little League. Miss Bea's legacy as a preschool teacher is deeply rooted in the Helotes community. During her 34 years she not only taught lessons but also instilled values that extended far beyond the classroom, creating ripples of influence that will continue to resonate for years to come. Her dedication to nurturing and educating young minds, along with her genuine love and care for each child, made her a beloved figure known by many. Beatrice loved her family above all else, as they were the cornerstone of her life. She found great joy in attending family gatherings, along with shopping trips with her sisters, nieces, and close friends. Her devotion to her grandchildren was unwavering, never missing an opportunity to support them in their schooling and various activities. Admired by many, she was a pillar of strength and comfort, extending her friendship to all who crossed her path. Beatrice will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she has departed this life, her memory will live on in those that loved and cherished her so dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents Adam and Linda Flores, sister Linda Graham, and brothers Paul and Joe Flores. Beatrice is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Armando A. Flores, sons Armando Jr (Amy), Michael (Amanda), and Adam Flores, and her nine beloved grandchildren, Xavier, Logan, Analisa, Alexander, Austin, Annabelle, Dylan, Kennady, and Caulin. Additionally, she is survived by her brother Tony Flores, sisters Della Rendon, Ann Tanner, Sarah Tanner, Alice Graczyk, Sylvia Aragon, Sue Minick, and numerous adoring nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. (https://www.lls.org/ways-to-give) Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life following the burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes TX in the Parish Hall from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
