Making the world more beautiful for 69 years, Belia T. Gonzales entered the gates of Heaven and into loving arms above. Belia was an amazing wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother who centered her life around family, love, and laughter. She brought warmth and strength to everyone who knew her and created a home filled with joy, support, and unforgettable memories. Belia loved cheering for her favorite teams, especially the Houston Astros and San Antonio Spurs, and she rarely missed the chance to watch a good game. Whether it was baseball, basketball, or any sport on TV, she enjoyed the excitement and sharing those moments with family. Her greatest joy, however, was cheering on her grandchildren. Belia proudly attended every one of their games, performances, and school events, always showing up with love, encouragement, and a smile, making sure they knew how proud she was of them. Belia also loved spending time traveling to casinos with her husband and children, where the fun, laughter, and time together meant more than anything else. Belia had a special gift for bringing people together. She loved cooking for everyone and was happiest when her kitchen was full and her table was surrounded by family and friends. Hosting others was truly her love language, and she found joy in preparing meals, welcoming guests, and making sure everyone felt cared for and at home. A proud and dedicated lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Belia valued service, friendship, and community. Her kindness, loyalty, and generous spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Belia is survived by her loving mother, Salome Trevino; her devoted husband, Jacob Gonzales; her children Jacob Jr. & Julie Gonzales, Jennifer & Rose Villegas, Baltazar & Johanna Gonzales, Gina & Stephen Allan, and Xavier Naranjo; her sister Connie Trevino; her brothers Javier & Lydia Trevino and Hector Trevino; sister in-law JoAnn Loera and brother in-law Juan Jr & Ashley Gonzales; and more than ten cherished grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life: Jizelle, Victoria, Lilyanna, Charlie, Emma, Jace, Juliana, Kai, Savannah, and Logan; and many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Arquimedes Trevino; her son, Frank Jr. Villegas; her brothers Manuel Trevino and Reymundo Trevino; and her beloved granddaughter, Charlie Villegas. Loved beyond measure and forever in our hearts, Belia will be celebrated on Monday, March 16th at Mission Park South Main Chapel, 1700 SE Military Dr., 78214. Public viewing begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by a 6:30 p.m. Rosary service. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 236 E. Petaluma Blvd., 78221. Interment will follow at Mission Park South Cemetery. Belia’s love, strength, and beautiful spirit will live on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
