In Loving Memory of Cecilia Carter Sanii May 12, 1943-May 6, 2025 With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Cecila Carter Sanii, a beautiful soul, devoted wife, and deeply loving mother, who left this world on May 6, 2025 surrounded by those who loved her most. Cecila was the heart of her family, a woman whose grace, compassion, and strength touched everyone she met. Her love was boundless, her kindness effortless, and her presence a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing her. She built a life full of warmth, joy and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Cecilia was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky where she went on to become a registered nurse. In 1968, she moved to Iran with her husband, where she embraced the culture wholeheartedly, learning the language and traditions with enthusiasm. In 1979 she settled in San Antonio, Texas where she raised her family and pursued her passion for helping others by earning her degree in Science of Nursing. Cecilia was an avid quilter, pouring her creativity and care into every stitch and a devoted reader who found joy in the written word. Above all, she cherished her time with her beloved grandson. As a wife to Eddie Sanii, she was a true partner-supportive, faithful and endlessly loving. Their marriage was a testament to loyalty, friendship, and enduring love. As a mother to Suzie, Laila & Negeen, she was their safe place and greatest supporter, offering gentle wisdom, deep affection and a love that knew no limits. She had a rare ability to make every moment special-whether through her comforting words, a warm embrace, or her radiant smile that could brighten the darkest day. Her beauty, inside and out, will forever be remembered and missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Sanii, her children, Suzie Sanii, Laila Sanii, Negeen Mosley, her treasured grandson Silas Mosley. Her sister Margo Martin and son in laws Chris Mosely and Matthew Baugh. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Carter and Hazel Burk Carter. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in remembrance of a life lived with extraordinary love and grace. In honor of Cecilia, the family kindly requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity or cause. Her love is etched in our hearts forever. We will carry her light with us always
