Our loving son, Christian Gonzalez, passed away suddenly on Sunday September 26, 2021. He will be missed everyday by his father, US Army Sergeant First Class (Retired) Luis Gonzalez Jr., mother, Angela; his younger brothers Jonathan and Daniel; Paternal Grandmother “Oma” Digna Gonzalez; Maternal Grandparents United States Air Force Staff Sergeant (Retired) Marvin and Angela Carlson; and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Christian is also missed by the family dogs Rosie, Amy and Christian’s girl Christy. As the son of a career Army Soldier, Christian was well traveled and had experienced so much before coming to Texas. Due to his experiences, Christian loved being surrounded by family and friends where he could learn, laugh and be lighthearted. He is remembered for being a brother with a heart of gold because he was kind, caring, and compassionate. Christian went out of his way to help those who needed a smile, kind word or his last dollar. He honestly cared about people in the purest way, he loved you for who you were and asked nothing in return. He was a generous, easy-going, human being who rooted for your success at each milestone. Christian loved cooking, music, playing practical jokes and celebrating his Puerto Rican and Panamanian heritage. He was a huge Tom Brady fan and took great pride in wearing his Patriots or Buccaneer football jersey especially when visiting his dad and brother Daniel, who were Pittsburgh Steelers fans. Christian was proudest being a big brother to Jonathan and Daniel. From the day they were born, they were his best friends. He was a born leader and teacher who taught his brothers how to draw, play video games, and do combat rolls like Army Soldiers. He loved watching them grow into amazing young men and was their biggest fan as they reached their goals and continued to make new ones. Christian was welcomed into Heaven by his Paternal Grandfather, US Air Force Staff Sergeant (Retired) Luis Gonzalez Garzon, Maternal Aunt Elizabeth, and his great grandparents. The world lost a true Angel, and although he is gone from our physical embrace, Christian will live forever in our hearts and will keep watch over his family and loved ones.
