Dalia Martinez, age 69, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, July 16, 2026, and was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior following health complications. ❤️ Dalia was born in Wauchula, Florida, to Jose Felipe Martinez and Maria Imelda Sierra- Martinez on April 16, 1957. She was a member of Westside Fellowship Church for over 15 years, where she worshiped and served faithfully. Her days were devoted to reading God's Word and spending time in prayer. Dalia was known for her generous heart, hardworking spirit, and ability to embrace life with joy and gratitude. She cherished her family and friends and lived each day to the fullest with faith, strength, and love. Dalia was a beautiful reflection of God's love, evident in the countless lives she touched and the souls she helped lead to Christ. Her selfless devotion to her grandchildren remained unwavering until the very end. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and unconditional love. Her children can be profoundly proud to become a living testament to the love, strength, and grace she shared so generously with others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Felipe Martinez and Maria Imelda Sierra-Bundick. Dalia is survived by her children: Veronica Borjon-Guajardo (Jeffrey Guajardo), Alice Borjon, Juan Borjon Jr. (Marissa Borjon), and Valerie Borjon, all of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings, Juan Martinez, Jorge Martinez (Sandra), Julian Martinez (Lucy), and Diana Rios (Fernando). Dalia was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren: Jordan Hinojosa, Madilyne Borjon, Victor Mendoza, Isaiah Mendoza, Rylee Jacobs, Beau Borjon, Avian Mendoza, Vegas Borjon, Kalel Chavez, and Abigail Chavez. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, countless friends, and her two beloved fur babies, Gus and Kayle. Dalia will be deeply missed, but her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. As we celebrate Dalia's life and the unwavering faith she carried throughout her journey, we take comfort in God's promises and rejoice in knowing that she has entered His eternal presence. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7 "Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23 May all who knew and loved Dalia find peace in the assurance that her race is complete, her faith has been rewarded, and she is now resting in the joy and presence of her Heavenly Father. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Mission Park Funeral Chapels from 4:00–5:00 p.m. (Immediate Family Only), followed by 5:00–8:00 p.m. (Extended Family and Friends), with a church service to be held during the visitation. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026. Burial will follow at Mission Park Cemeteries. The family of Dalia Martinez wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at Methodist Hospital who cared for Dalia, as well as to the members of Westside Fellowship Church, Metanoya Church, friends, and family members who have offered prayers, love, support, and encouragement during this difficult time.
