Dena Diane Patrick, 63, peacefully departed this earth on August 4, 2016 surrounded by family in the hospital after two battles with cancer. She shared 40 years of faithful and loving marriage with Leonard Earl Patrick. Born in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of George Ray and Marjorie Lee Denton and sister to Larry & wife Bonnie, Denny & wife Becky, Darrel & wife Sherry, and Darren "DP" & wife Ruth Denton. Mom pursued a passion for and talent in interior design, cosmetology, and floral arranging. She is appreciated and will be remembered for beautifully decorating anything she touched, never giving herself credit for the talent and gift she shared so freely with others. Mama had strong faith and love for Christ as her savior, fervently praying to the Lord for all of her loved ones. She had a fun loving personality, gentle kindness and carried on easy going conversation able to make a friend anywhere she went. We were graced by her beautiful smile, family storytelling, and contagious laughter. Mom's unconditional love was felt by all of her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, George, mother, Marjorie, uncle, Otis "Odie", brother, Darrel and niece, Jordana Denton, daughter of DP Denton and Tammy Verlander. Dena is survived by her husband, Leonard, daughter Gina Diane Suire-grandchildren Derrick Joseph, Aaron Charles, Brittnie Diane and Jonnis Ray Suire and great grandchildren Chloe Ann Morris daughter of Brittnie, Oliver Riddock Suire son of Derrick & Demi J Grace Suire daughter of Aaron; daughter Melissa Renae Glasbrenner and husband Gary-grandchildren Justin Michael & Allison Ray Scannell, Shane, Sarah & Hayla Faith Glasbrenner; son Michael Shawn Patrick and wife Jayme-grandchildren Audrey Grace & Aidan Otis Patrick; son Derrick Joe "DJ" and wife Amanda-grandchildren Jalen Ray, Katelynn Grace & Rylan Kade Patrick; & daughter Kristin Marrilee Huitron and husband Sonny-grandchildren Alexis Anais, Caprice Cay, Ariana Arey, Emily Marie & Luke Ryan Huitron.
