Dianne Mary “Dee” Beyer passed peacefully on January 27th, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas, at home under the care of her loving husband Robert “Bud” Beyer. Dee was preceded in death by her father, William Christopher “Bill” Foote, of the US Marine Corps and the California Highway Patrol, and her mother Audrey Agnes Foote. Dee and Bud enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with their family, wherever that might take them. She is survived by her son Christopher Anda, wife Julie of San Antonio; son Michael Anda and Keri Fischer of Colorado Springs; stepson Christopher Beyer, wife Jill of Parker, CO; stepdaughter Shelley Gross, husband Michael of Parker, CO; stepdaughter Ashleigh Beyer and Jonathan Harris of Santa Fe, NM; and her grandchildren Zack Beyer (27), Jordan Israelson (27), Sam Beyer (25), Makena Gross (25), Lia Beyer (23), Connor Anda (17), Dylan Gross (16), Madison Anda (13), and great-grandson Koa Liu (3.5). Dee was born and raised in California but called Texas home since the early 70s. She raised her two sons, Chris and Mike Anda, in San Antonio and was always outspokenly proud of both sons’ many years of service following their grandfather’s footsteps in the Marines. Never fond of cold weather, or heights, or rigorous exercise, Dee took up snow skiing later in life, and it became an unlikely passion. She, Bud and their friends and family spent weeks every year in Summit County, Colorado, and had a particular affinity for the town and mountain Breckenridge. Dee also loved seeing new places and old favorites alike. She and Bud traveled around much of North America and were fortunate most recently to make long anticipated trips to Israel and Italy, and to Sacramento to attend the California Highway Patrol’s Fallen Officer’s Memorial Ceremony. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels, 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX 78230. We, Dee’s family, look forward to welcoming her many friends and sharing happy memories of the woman we all loved so much. Dee and Bud were grateful to be among the congregation at Christ Episcopal Church, where funeral service will be held on Friday February 2 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
