Dolores Belia Ramirez Leal, 82, of San Antonio, Texas, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2025, after a life filled with vibrant faith and infectious joy. Born on July 8, 1943, in Cótulla, Texas, to Serapio and Belia Canales Ramirez, Dolores was a beacon of light whose love for Jesus Christ illuminated every room she entered. Known for her vivacious spirit and unwavering devotion, she had a gift for making everyone she met feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Her radiant smile and signature laughter could brighten even the darkest day, and her home was a haven of warmth and comfort for countless family and friends. Dolores lived her faith in action. For many years, she was an active member of several Catholic churches on San Antonio’s north side and a devoted singer with the Voices of Victory choir. With the choir, she joyfully shared her gift of music across Texas and New Mexico, as well as through local Christian television. She drew strength from Scripture, peace from prayer, and joy from God’s promises of eternal life. Her deep relationship with the Lord was her greatest treasure, and she inspired all who knew her to walk more closely with Him. Family was Dolores’s greatest earthly blessing. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Porfirio Leal Jr.; her grandson, Javi Luna; her brother, Arturo Ramirez; and her parents, Serapio and Belia Ramirez. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Laura Leal; her grandchildren, Nicole Montemayor (Steven), Natalie Queen, Shawn Queen, Kristen Queen, Steven Queen, and Gabriella Luna; and her great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Allison, Annabelle, Ethan, Ava, Charlotte, Triton, Palmer, and Addison. She also leaves behind her siblings, Serapio Ramirez Jr. and Yolanda Zerda, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who were forever touched by her generous spirit. Though her presence will be deeply missed, comfort is found in the hope of Christ’s resurrection and the assurance that she now rejoices in His eternal embrace. A Rosary and Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church on September 22 at 11:30 a.m., followed by her burial at Mission Park Cemetery at the Dominion at 1:30 p.m.
