Donald Wayne Richardson, Sr. 84; of Saint Hedwig and Schertz, Texas, went to his heavenly home on February 19, 2026. He was born on August 22, 1941 to Mary and Leonard Richardson. He served His Country as a member of the United States Marine Corps: He worked as a Jet Mechanic of F- 4 Phantom; He served four different tours in Vietnam; He served on a Navy Ship, during the Cuban Missile Crisis; and He was The Head Instructor of 3M School for five years. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1980, after twenty years served. He moved to the Universal City area in 1986; and worked for Lear Siegler at RAFB as a Structural Mechanic on Aircraft. He was a member of FBC Universal City for forty years. He served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher ; and served as a New Believer Teacher, for Children, for many years. He has an Associates Degree from Liberty University in Bible Theology. He took many Discipleship Training Courses through FBC Universal City. His Hobbies included: spending time with Family; all Church- related Activities; working on Cars; reading; working outside in the yard; and teaching His Children about Basic Life Christian Principles. He was proceeded in Death by His Parents: Mary and Leonard Richardson; Two Sisters: Doris Devine and Kathy York; Two Brothers: Herman Richardson and Jerry Richardson. He is survived by His Wife: Margie Richardson, of more than sixty- five years; His Sister: Betty(Clark) Isaac’s; His Children: Jerusha( Edwin) Davila; Donald Jr( Tammy) Richardson; and Eugenia( Lionel) DeLaCruz; A Granddaughter/ Daughter Ashley( Matthew) Poe. Grandchildren: Danielle(Ruben) Montemayor, Adrian( David) Davila Christopher( BrittNee)Davila, Philip( Brittany) Richardson, Dustin Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Kristie Flournoy, William Flournoy, and Zach Flournoy, Ashley Schoenberger, Patricia Swain, Lionel DeLaCruz,Jr., Daniel DeLaCruz, Carolina DeLaCruz, and Cristina DeLaCruz. There are Eighteen Great Grandchildren, and one Great- Great Grandchild. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:00am at First Baptist Church in Universal City. Interment will follow at Mission Retama Cemetery.
