Donna Mae Phillips Booth April 25, 1936 – October 24, 2023 Mrs. Donna Booth, a resident of Helotes, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023. She was 87. Funeral Services will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, San Antonio, Texas, at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 with the Rev. Jerry McNeill officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Donna was born in Pawhuska, OK, April 25, 1936 to Walter Lee Phillips and Verna Gunter Phillips. After graduating from Harlandale High School, she married Sidney E. Booth on May 28, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas. Sidney and Donna served God in ministry by pastoring several churches through the Assemblies of God for over 50 years. Donna and Sidney were married for 61 years until his death in January 2016. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Phillips and Billy Phillips. Donna leaves to treasure her memories, three children, Sidonna Booth Bell (Ron) of Helotes, TX, Randall Booth (Caroline) of San Antonio, TX, and Billy Booth (Patricia) of San Antonio, TX; Five grandchildren, Amber Bell Kosier (Klint), Breanna Bell Ellis (Scott), Nicole Booth Hanley, Jason Booth (Alyssa), and Caleb Morales; Nine great grandchildren, Emma Ellis, Sophie Ellis, Bryson Ellis, Kari Kosier, Kaylee Kosier, Kade Kosier, Kasen Jahns, Landon Albritton, and Everett Booth. Donna is also survived by one sister, Oleta Phillips Duke, one sister-in-law, Mae Phillips and several nieces and nephews. Donna served as the San Antonio Sectional Director for Missionettes for many years. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Music Director and Book Keeper in the churches they pastored. Donna loved her family and invested as much time as she could with them. Game night with her siblings was always filled with fun, jokes and laughter. She loved sitting in her favorite recliner with Bella (her fur baby) and watching all sports, but especially her beloved Oklahoma Sooners Football Team! Cooking was her specialty as she was known for her awesome Texas Chili and Enchilada Casserole. She traveled extensively throughout the United States. Donna also enjoyed travel to England, Scotland, Wales, Canada and Mexico. The family would like to express our deepest heartfelt gratitude to the very caring staff at Honey’s House Senior Living in Helotes, TX, where she resided for the past four years.
