Today, we honor, respect, and remember a really great man who touched and enriched all our lives in so many different ways. Elias P Pardo III went to be with the Lord, May 6, 2021 at the age of 50 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on February 27, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1989. He went on to be a night stocker/manager at HEB for 19 years. This is also where he met the love of his life, Christine Pardo and married on June 14, 2011at the Excalibur Hotel/ Casino. He was her greatest support, strongest motivation, and biggest comfort. He would always quote, "Happy wife, happy life." He was her best friend and loving husband. He also selflessly took on the role of being a caring, compassionate father to Felicia Rodriguez, who he often referred to as Pumpkin. He was her special gift from God, her protector, and her shoulder to lean on. He had endless wisdom, and timeless advice; his love was unconditional. He was also a loving son. His parents Elias and Maria Pardo Jr. always say they couldn’t ask for a better son, who was the love of their life, and will always be. "Our angel is asleep, and has gone to be with our Lord Jesus in peace." His dream came true when he moved to Las Vegas, on April 26, 2015. There, he pursued a career as a security officer, and was proud to work for Aliante Hotel/Casino for 5 years. He was passionate about Star Wars, collecting Silver Coins, and often enjoyed listening to his rock music (Metallica), and occasionally country. We all agree he was one of a kind. He will be remembered for his glowing smile, his big heart, and his hilarious pranks. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elias and Anita Pardo. Elias is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Christine Pardo; parents, Elias and Maria Jr.; daughter, Felicia Rodriguez (Chester Roman); aunts and uncle, Martha Garza, Dorothy De La Fuente(Paul); sister in-laws (Lisa, Rachel, Sandra; brother in-laws ( Andy, Gabriel, George); and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2021 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Mission Park South. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
