Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez was born in San Antonio, Texas to Gregorio Mendoza & Maria Mendoza. Elisabeth Rodriguez attended Harlandale High School where she graduated in 1991. After graduating from High School Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez decided to attend The Baptist theological Seminary in San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated in 1993 with a certificate in music. After graduating from Seminary, she was called to do missionary work, where she traveled to Little Rock Arkansas and to Portland Oregon. Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez had a passion to serve the Lord and she did it with all her Heart, Soul, and Mind. She mainly worked with the children ministry where she was able to show them the love of God. In 1995 Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez met her husband Joe Rodriguez while doing her missionary work in Portland, Oregon. Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez married her husband on December 27th, 1997 in a small ceremony at her parent’s home in San Antonio, Texas. After their wedding they lived in Hillsboro, Oregon where she worked as Secretary, small loan agent, bank teller, and as a Leasing property agent until May 2003. In May 2003 Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez and her husband made the move to San Antonio, Texas to be closer to her family. Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez returned to Oriente Baptist church where she started serving and helping with the children, youth, and music ministry. She worked in a Christian bookstore, administrative assistant and as a Pre-K teacher in different private schools in the San Antonio area. Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez loved the Lord and she showed God’s love to everyone she met. She was a talented musician that sang and played the Piano and guitar for God at every opportunity she had. Traveling and Photography were two of her greatest passions after God. She constantly led her family on many adventures. She was a loved teacher that inspired and showed the love of God to many children and parents. The legacy she left behind will continue to motivate others to show Gods Love. Mrs. Elisabeth Rodriguez entered to rest on December 12, 2020 at the age of 47. She is preceded in death by her father, Gregorio Mendoza. She is survived by her husband Joe Rodriguez; mother, Maria M. Mendoza; sister, Gilda Cabrera and (John); Brothers, Gregorio Mendoza Jr. (Amanda), Angel (Violet), Abraham, Emmanuel (Inez), Ismael (Stephanie), and Saul (Crystal); numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. Visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00A.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels south. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
