Enedelia S. Arguello born in Monterrey, Mexico on May 3, 1920 passed peacefully on October 7, 2013 at the age of 93. She was a loving person who was the heart and soul of the family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose M. Arguello, daughter Hilda A. Santos, and sister, Orfelinda Gonzales. Survivors include her loving children: Jose Arguello Charmi, Blanca Velazquez Roberto, Jaime Arguello Diana, Sergio Arguello Josie and Connie Vargas; siblings: Israel Sepulveda, Blanca Montemayor and Ruben Sepulveda; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Eldest daughter of Margarito Sepulveda and Petra Elizondo Sepulveda both deceased Married to Jose Maria Arguello Sister to: Israel Sepulveda, Orfelinda Gonzalez deceased, Ruben Sepulveda, and Blanca Montemayor Sons: Jose, Jaime and Sergio Arguello Daughters: Blanca Idalia Velazquez, Hilda Santos deceased, and Connie Vargas Grandsons: Jose Luis Santos, Leopoldo Santos, Aldo Velazquez, Michael Arguello, William Arguello, Thomas Vargas, Anthony Vargas, Roberto Vargas, Joseph Arguello, Steven Arguello, Adrian Arguello Granddaughters: Laura Alvarado, Monica Velazquez, Magda Turner and Belinda Arguello. Enedelia was born and raised in a small town near Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico named La Encarnacion. She was called "Nena" by her family. Her parents owned a ranch so from an early age she learned to perform many of the ranch and household chores. She also learned to prepare meals for the family and became such a good cook that she is known for her very delicious meals. In 1943 she married Jose Maria Arguello and moved to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico where all of the sons and daughters were born. In 1954 the family moved to San Antonio, Texas. It took a few years for her to adjust to the new culture but once she did, she learned to be great at her favorite pastimes including Bingo, Bunko and word puzzles. She also was a great fan of wrestling and an especially strong fan of the San Antonio Spurs. Enedelia always had a great sense of love for family and on many occasions she helped not only her siblings but other relatives as well. She was totally selfless in the pursuit of providing a good education for her children. She imparted good values and ethics to her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren but most importantly she gave them her boundless love. She is beloved by family and friends and leaves many great memories to everyone who knew her. So even though she has departed this life, she will continue to live in our hearts and minds. God bless her! Visitation will begin on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
