Enrique Benjamin Garcia, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend entered into rest at the age of 54 on January 20, 2015. He was born in San Antonio, TX on July 6, 1960, the son of the late Frank Garcia. He served honorably in the United States Army from June 1978 through June 1981. He was a dedicated "Big Red" employee with almost 22 years of service. He was known to his family and friends as "Quique". He is survived by his beloved wife, Leticia C. Garcia of 27 years of marriage and his beautiful beloved daughter Emily Felice Garcia. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Bertha C. Garcia, six brothers, four sisters, nieces, and nephews. Davis Aaron & Sarah Rosalinda, Eduardo & Rhonda Garcia Serenity Escobar, Vanessa, Edward, and Desiree, Sarah & John Hasbrook Ricky Lopez, Peter & Sylvia Garcia Peter T. and Samantha, Valentin C. Garcia, Rosa & Richard De La Cruz Madalyn, Natalie, and Lauren, Alberto C. Garcia, Jesus & Trudy Garcia, and Melinda Garcia. Enrique is also survived by his father-in-law, E. B. Cavazos and 3 brothers-in-law and 2 half brothers-in-law. Rick & Mary Cavazos Haydee Ramos & Crystal, Manuel & Mary Cavazos Sueann Alvarez, Joe David Zamora, & Manuel Jr., Greg & Leticia Cavazos Daisy Valdez & Desiree, Robert Zamora Priscilla & Abbey, and Simon & Elizabeth Zamora Jackson & Everett. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Maria Zamora and numerous aunts very dear aunt Pat Cavazos and uncles. Enrique was a kind, generous man with a big heart. He will be remembered for his bar-b-que skills, Native American involvement, active member of Harlandale class of 78 alumni, Knights of Columbus, and always putting others first before self. Visitation will be at held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5 P.M.- 9 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South located at 1700 S. E. Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214 with a rosary service to be held that evening at 7 P.M. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 30th, 2015 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 7:30 A.M. – 8:30 A.M. located at 7701 Somerset Rd., San Antonio, TX 78211. Interment to follow at 9:15 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
