Eudelia Berlanga Garcia, born April 24, 1940 in Robstown, Texas and was called home to the Lord on November 14, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s dementia. Preceded in death by her parents Arturo and Cruz Berlanga and brother, Arturo Berlanga Jr. Surviving siblings are Margarita Nagy, Berta Torres, Angelica Carrasco, and Zulema Romo. Eudelia is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gilbert Garcia, her four beautiful children, Glenda Fuchs, Norma Crownover and her son-in-law, Carlton Crownover, Joaquin Garcia and her caring daughter-in-law, Amy Garcia, and Monica Ann Garcia. As a grandmother, she dotted on her eight grandchildren: Zane Crownover, Jason Crownover, Gregory Fuchs, Eric Fuchs, Nicholas Fuchs, Robert Quintero, Alyssa Quintero, and Tristan Quintero and her three great grandchildren: Ian Crownover, Brayden Crownover, and Aries Zavala, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Despite her large family, Eudelia always made time for everyone, many people also viewed her as their surrogate mother and an advocate for justice for all. Anyone that knew her knew that she was loving and kind, because that was all that mattered to her. Our lasting memories of Mom are simply one: hardworking, dedicated, and a passionate figure of strength. She never waned in her support or love for her family. Eudelia soldiered on, even when times were hard. While Eudelia family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Eudelia in a way that honors her spirit. Her departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not. We will stay strong. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no “No Quit” in Eudelia! Special thanks to Reliant at Home Hospice, for their professional care, and heart felt service provided to our family during our mother’s time of transition, from the CNAs, LVNs, RNs, Dr. Justos Cisceneros, Chaplain Leticia, Chaplain Ponce, and the social worker Cynthia Martinez, and Amada Senior Care, Socorro Torres. For your kind expressions of sympathy and thoughtfulness, it is deeply appreciated and will always be remembered. Thank you all so much.
