Fabian L. Biemer was born June 2, 1932 and laid to rest August 10, 2025. He is preceded in Death by: his parents, Louis Nance Biemer and Mary Dupnik Biemer; and loving wife, Anna Belle Shortner Biemer He is survived by: Sons; Mark Anthony Biemer (Maria), Timothy Allen Biemer (Tina); grandchildren: Alex Biemer (Georgia), James and Fabian Biemer, Angie and Lexi Banda; and great grandson: Drake Biemer. Fabian was born June 2, 1932 in Hobson, Texas. He grew up on the family farm being raised by his loving parents Louis and Mary. He attended grade and junior high school in Hobson. He went to Karnes City High School. In high school he was a star on the football and track teams. He graduated in 1951. After high school Fabian helped out on the family farm and worked as a carpenter. In 1952 , he joined the U.S. Air Force. In the air force he learned his trade; aircraft mechanic. He served at several bases in the States and Japan. He left the air force in 1956 where he had attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. After the air force, Fabian returned home to the farm. He worked again as a carpenter and for a brief time ; General Telephone. In 1957 he was hired by Braniff International Airlines as an aircraft mechanic. Fabian moved to San Antonio after being hired by Braniff. In 1959, he married the love of his life , Anna Bell Shortner. In 1960 Fabian and Anna Belle moved to Dallas due his transfer to the main Braniff maintenance base. In 1962 , Fabian and Anna Belle welcomed their first child, Mark. In 1966 they all moved back to San Antonio, when Fabian transferred back to line service with Braniff. In 1967 they welcomed their second son, Timothy. Fabian continued working on airplanes until 1999. While working as an aircraft mechanic, Fabian also had his own business, maintaining aircraft catering trucks. He also continued working on the family farm with his parents and on his own. He kept his business going until 2017. He never did quit working on the farm. Over the years he welcomed 2 daughters in law, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. He was a rock who took care of and loved his entire family. Fabian was a life-long catholic and active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He passed away on August 10, 2025. He was surely welcomed to Heaven by Jesus, and is now back with his forever love, Anna Belle.
