Frank Fu-Juan Lee was born on March 19, 1946 in Chongqing, China, to Chi-Shin Lee and Ron-Hua Wong. He passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2016. His family moved from China to Taiwan in 1949. He came to the United States on August 22, 1971. Shortly thereafter he met and married his beloved wife Betty on April 7,1973. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tunghai University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&I University in Kingsville. He began working towards his Doctorate in Operations Research at Texas A&M University in College Station; however, before completing it, God led him and his wife to San Antonio to begin their new family life together in 1974. He worked as a computer programmer for the next 28 years at Handy Andy, Harte Hanks, and Frost Bank. He ended his working career in 2002 when he retired from H.B. Zachary Construction Company. Frank loved traveling, gardening and spending time with his family. He has traveled and cruised to many locations around the world. Some of his favorite spots included Maine, the Mediterranean, Southwest China and of course Las Vegas. He was especially proud to watch his grandchildren play soccer and basketball. He was an avid Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed politics and following the stock market. He was a member of the Chinese Society of San Antonio. Frank was preceded in death by his father Chi-Shin Lee and his brother Hua-Fu Lee. Frank is survived by his wife, Betty Lee; daughter & son-in-law Drs. JoAnn & Jim Stewart of San Diego, California; son & daughter-in-law Drs. Jimmy & Cortney Lee of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren Mia, Grant, Ashton & Adalyn; mother Ron-Hua Wong of Taiwan; sister Kai-Lin Chin of Taiwan; brothers Tai-Shin Lee of San Antonio and Tai-Fu Lee of Taiwan.
