Franklin was an only child. He met his wife Gay on a blind date when they were in college. He told her that he loved her on their third date and gay thought" What a line!" 8 months later they were married;Gay was 18 and Franklin was 19. Everyone said it would never last, but it lasted for 63 wonderful years this Sept 11th. They had 4 sons jerry, Mark, Randy, and Jeffrey. He had a deep love and devotion for his family and strong faith in his lord. His love never wavered no matter how hard times got. It was his love for life that made him so great. He was a shining example for his children and those who loved him. He served our country for 24 years and retired from the Air Force as a Major. Gay had polio when their first child was 4 months old; and Franklin was there always caring for his family through all of the difficulties that came with it. Latter in life Franklin and Gays son Mark fell ill and their devotion and support was there through his final days. Franklin and Gay traveled with there children to a multitude of countries, visiting castles with swan boats, snow ball fights, sledding in the rocky mountains, feasting on lobsters and avocadoes in Florida, and always camping in what ever country they wore in. Franklin had many hobbies through the years and went to many collector shows and swap meets with his sons trying to find that perfect piece for his collections, and when he went to those shows so did that sausage and cheese and a beer ok maybe more then 1 beer that he wasn't suppose to eat at home. The greatest times in Franklins wonderful life was with family, loved ones, and the simple joys in life he captured on film from people and places across the world. Every day life being lived by so many different types of people. To know Franklin was to love him. Franklin Lott Kyle was born to Jesse Lott Kyle and Marguerite Ellis Kyle who preceded him in death along with his son Franklin Mark Kyle. Franklin is survived by his wife Gay Cranfill Kyle, son Jerry Lynn Kyle and his children Alesa Mullen and Kenric Kyle, son, Randy Don Kyle and wife Shannon N. Kyle as well as their Children Lauren Kyle and Nicolas Kyle, and son Jeffrey Luke Kyle and Partner Bryan Patterson.
