Gregoria G. Rodriguez passed peacefully from this life the on July 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was blessed and gently called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gregoria was brought into this world February 13, 1931 in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico by her parents, Fidel and Gregoria Arrambide Gonzalez. On February 27, 1949, at La Trinidad Church in Monterrey, Mexico, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Rodolfo Munoz Rodriguez. Gregoria and Rodolfo and their family moved to San Antonio in 1954 where they raised their six children. Gregoria and Rodolfo became active members of Cornerstone Church for over 30 years and were instrumental in starting the Spanish-language ministry at the church. Since inception, Gregoria dutifully assisted her husband Rodolfo during Sunday services at Cornerstone Church. It was her duty to assure the attendees had the appropriate equipment required in order to hear as her husband translated Pastor Hagee's service in Spanish. In life, Gregoria's heart was fully devoted to our Lord and Jesus Christ, her loving husband and family in that order. Gregoria is survived in this life by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Rodolfo Rodriguez. The love and dedication she bestowed on her God, her loving husband and family will continue to live in the hearts and minds of her children: Daughters; Maria Cristina Rodriguez, Rebeca Leo Guzman, Son's; Rodolfo Rodriguez, Jr., Ricardo Helen Rodriguez, Mike Sharon, and Mario Rodriguez. Grandchildren; Jarod Rodriguez, Misael Guzman, Gabriel and Rebekah Guzman, Christopher, Jonathan, Angelica, Miguel Jr., Matthew, Wilson, Brandon, Sarah and Angela Rodriguez. Great-Grandchildren; Alyssa, Misael Christian, Caleb, David, Andrew, Briley and other relatives and friends. We ask that nothing of her life be lost. We ask that everything in which she selflessly gave to her family will continue to mean much to us now that she is gone. Everything that she held sacred may be of benefit to all of us who follow her. We understand now, that because of her passing, it is we the living that are more closely drawn together. In this togetherness, peace and friendship we become ever more aware of the promise that Jesus made to all of us that promise to remain faithful to us, even in death. The family of Gregoria is extremely grateful to the following individuals for their dedication and loving care they have given the family over the years; Dr. Robert Schnitzler, Victoria Paparelli, RN, CCNS, Mary Lopez, RN, and her sitters; Lupita Martin, Odilia Garcia and Maria Ygyerabide. SERVICES A church service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Cornerstone Church Chapel 18755 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, Texas, 78258. Guest are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service in the Life Center, with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Association, 7400 Louis Pasteur Dr., #200, San Antonio, Texas 78229-4542.
