With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Papo, great grandfather, and coach, Henry Faz Honesto on June 3rd, 2026. For many years, he dedicated his life to coaching—not just on the field or court, but in life. He had a special gift for teaching, encouraging, and inspiring those around him. Whether coaching his own children, grandchildren, or other family members, he poured his heart into helping them grow, believe in themselves, and achieve their potential. To him, every game was an opportunity to teach lessons about teamwork, perseverance, character, and love. His family was the center of his world. Some of our most treasured memories are gathered around the television watching the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys, cheering. debating plays, celebrating victories, and simply enjoying time together. Those moments reflected what he valued most—not the score, but the people beside him. He was a man of strength, patience, and unwavering devotion. His guidance shaped generations, and his love will continue to live on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Herlinda Honesto, and his beloved daughter, Carla Honesto Rodriguez (Raymond), his parents Encarnacion Honesto, Ricarda Faz, Brother Pedro Honesto, beloved Pet Boxer and grand fur baby Koda Jaymes all whom he loved dearly and missed deeply. And Survived by his Children Rick Honesto (Shirley) Sandra Honesto Montano (Joe) Desiree Honesto (Jolynn), Grand Children Stephen (Desirae), Kailey Montano (Noah) Kaiden, Nicholas Honesto, Shelby Betran (Ray), Great Grand Children Caleb, Emilio, Brooklyn and Hudson. Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the lives he influenced, and the values he instilled in all of us. His lessons will continue to guide us, his stories will continue to make us smile, and his love will remain forever in our hearts. We will remember him not only as a father and Papo, but as our coach, our mentor, our biggest supporter, and our hero. "A great coach teaches for a season.
