With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James L. Regan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and pillar of our community. He peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on 2/11/2024. James L. Regan was born on 10/06/1954 in Janesville, Wisconsin to Frank and Ardath Regan. He grew up with a strong faith in God, which remained the cornerstone of his life. He found solace and guidance in the scriptures, and his unwavering faith shone through in every aspect of his being. Growing up he always had a knack to play board games and strategically think ahead. He joined the U.S. Navy on 02/05/1973 to serve on the USS Guam (LPH-9) where he served honorably as Hospital Corpsman until 12/16/1976. After he left the U.S. Navy he went on to conduct missionary work across the world until he settled in New York. Thereafter, he continued his passion of work in the Laboratory and that’s where he also found the love of his life Miriam De La Cruz. He asked Miriam De La Cruz out on their first date to the Niel Diamond concert in June 1986. After that first spark and many other dates he then married the love of his life, Miriam Regan, on 06/11/1988, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. They raised their only child Lawton Regan, instilling in him the values of kindness, compassion, and faith. He was a devoted parent, always there to offer a listening ear, a warm hug, and unwavering support. James L. Regan was not only a loving family man, but also a dedicated member of his community. He was actively involved in Believers Christian Center, where he served as Youth Paster for over 5years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it was volunteering at the church, offering support to those in need, or simply sharing a kind word. His gentle spirit and unwavering faith touched countless lives. He was also known for his funny jokes and his charisma of Chess. He had a passion for playing Chess and writing books as a published author, and his infectious enthusiasm brought joy to everyone around him. He was a true friend, always there for a laugh, a listening ear, or a helping hand. James L. Regan will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Miriam Regan; his children Lawton Regan and Sally Regan; his grandchildren, Zerimar, Kiara, Soreya and Yumi; his siblings, Angel Regan, Jerry Regan, Sean Regan; and countless friends and extended family members. While we grieve his passing, we find comfort in knowing that he is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord. His legacy of faith, kindness, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to (“James L.
