Jennifer Marie Guerrero was born on January 19, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas, at Nix Hospital to Moses Guerrero Jr. and Emma Guerrero. A lifelong Southsider, Jennifer carried her roots with pride and remained deeply committed to her faith, family, and community throughout her life. She attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic School and later graduated from Incarnate Word High School. Jennifer went on to earn her associate’s degree and built a remarkable professional career, excelling as a Payroll Executive for over thirty years. She worked with several companies, most notably Kraft/Philip Morris, where her intelligence, precision with numbers, and strong work ethic were deeply valued. Jennifer was a woman of deep Catholic faith. She believed wholeheartedly in guardian angels watching over her and found comfort in knowing her loved ones who preceded her in death—her father, Moses; her Aunt Mary; her Uncle Ruben; and her grandparents—were always near. Her faith guided her life and shaped her compassion for others. Strong-willed, stubborn, and fiercely loyal, Jennifer was also generous in spirit and quietly kind. She had a signature gap-toothed smile, a sharp mind for numbers, and was a private person with big ideas. She loved animals and people alike, often taking in strays—whether four-legged or human—offering help without hesitation or expectation. She truly cared about helping others and would assist anyone in need. She consistently put the happiness of others before her own and was courageous in ways we may never fully know, quietly sacrificing her own happiness for the well-being of those she loved. Heaven has gained another angel, while her family has lost someone irreplaceable. Her sisters, Debra Ann Guerrero and Sandra Guerrero, mourn the loss of their beloved sister, and her mother grieves the loss of her second daughter. Though her absence is deeply felt, her family finds comfort in knowing Jennifer is now reunited with her father in heaven and has found peace. Jennifer will be remembered for her loyalty, her quiet strength, her love for animals, her deep faith, and the many lives she touched simply by being herself. She will be dearly missed.
