Jesse C. Salinas, III age 63 of San Antonio, Tx, passed away on February 23, 2026 of natural causes. He was surrounded by his loving family. Jesse is the son of Celia M. Castellano, mother, Leon C. Castellano, step-father, Debra Camacho, sister, Laura C. Lantz, sister and spouse Darren Lantz, and Leon C. Castellano, Jr, brother and partner Melinda Medrano, Ronnie Jason Talsma, son and his spouse Patricia Talsma, Justin Andrew Salinas, son and his spouse Leigh Salinas, Talsma grandchildren Ayden and his partner Victoria, Ethan, Aaron, Austin, Mason, and great-grandson Ronnie Talsma and was beloved by many nieces and nephews. Jesse was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benito Martinez, and his father, Jesse C. Salinas, III. Jesse is survived by his step-mother Adelina Salinas, sister Jessica Kingsberry, her spouse Clint, Zander, son, and his brother Mark. As an uncle, Jesse laughed boisterously watching his nephew perform improv comedy sports and loved going to games to watch his nieces and nephews play soccer, football, baseball, and softball from their youth throughout high school. He was always there to root for them! Jesse was dedicated and thoughtful in everything he did. He would take his mom and dad to breakfast on Sundays and he would call his mom each day on the way home from work. He had a great attitude in life and had a sense of humor that made you laugh out loud. Jesse was a reliable friend. He would touch base with friends for dinner or a game of tennis, sometimes 4 times a week, and pickleball after work. At his job, his boss said, "Jesse was our best worker, he was liked by everyone, always polite and respectful, he never complained, and he promptly responded to his clients that needed transportation to their medical appointments. He was so proud of his sons and their dedication to their own family and their sacrifice and service to our country. When he was with his oldest son Jason, Patricia and the grandkids, he said it was like heaven on earth. He loved the time when they went camping with the grandkids, they all partied at a beach in South Carolina, and Jason loved to BBQ and afterwards they just launged at home and his grandkids would challenge grandpa to a game on the Playstation. Jesse got to visit Justin and Leigh when they were stationed in Italy, South Korea, Germany, and Yellow Stone. He would say, "I checked off one more thing on my bucket list." He was a loving and devoted grandpa, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone. A visitation service for Jesse C. Salinas, III will be on March 13, 2026 at the Alamo Funeral Home, 624 N. Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78215. A private family viewing service is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Friends and family are welcome from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Please join us in his Celebration of Life Memorial Service from 6:00 pm to 8 pm.
