Judy Jordan (Willis) passed away in Bryan, TX on May 25th, 2025. She was born on August 29, 1946 to William Alton (W.A.) Willis and Ruby Dean Shields Willis in San Angelo, TX. She spent the majority of her childhood in Levelland, TX. Her family left Levelland in 1961 when her father retired from the U.S. Air Force. The family moved to Odessa, TX, then Abilene where she graduated from Abilene High School in 1964. Judy continued her education at Texas Tech University for 4 years where she began her career in the travel and hospitality sales industry. She was the first female manager for Earl Hayes Rentals at the DFW airport in the 1970’s, and had lengthy sales careers with Avis Rentals and Omni hotels, amongst several others. On August 17th, 1980 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Dean Jordan Sr. They lived the majority of their life in San Antonio, TX and were married 25 years until his death in 2005. Judy was an avid golfer and gardener, loved to sing Patsy Cline music, and made a mean pot of chili! Judy was preceded in death by her husband Ken Jordan Sr., her Father and Mother W.A. and Ruby Willis, sister Carolyn Willis Brown, and brother William A. (Bill) Willis II. Judy is survived by her sister, Sherry Willis of Crowley, TX, Sister-in-law Denise Willis-Kuntz (Gary) of Tomball, TX, Brother-in-law Julian Burch of Livingston, TX, Nieces Julie Shaddox (Chuck) of Bryan, TX, Rebecca Creighton (Glenn) of Bellevue, NE, Kris Weixelbaum of Frisco TX, Sandy Sweeden of Yakima, WA, Nephews Joshua Willis of Kansas City, MO, and Eddy Cumbie (Chris) of Spring, TX. Great-Nephews and nieces, Jaxson and Jake Shaddox, Hannah and Elizabeth Creighton, Jett, Olivia, and Rhys Weixelbaum, Drew Cumbie (Jannah), Mitchell Cumbie (Jessie), and Allie Cumbie Thurman (Ken). Judy is also survived by many friends and neighbors who were like family. The family would like to thank Traditions Hospice of the Brazos Valley for the loving care that was provided to her and the family in her final days. SERVICES PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11TH SERVICE LOCATION HAS CHANGED: Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. The Service will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North.
