Linda Veronica (Lozano) Rios entered eternal rest on June 8, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on July 9, 1940, to Eliseo and Elena (Bustillo) Lozano. On June 17, 1961, Linda married the love of her life, Louis B. Rios, and together they shared 65 years of devotion, faith, and family. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Rios; her brothers, Frank and Louis Lozano; and her sister, Lillian Waits. Cherishing her memory are her loving husband, Louis; her children, Virginia Ann Rios, Anita Rios Moore and partner Kurt Sharples; Louis Rios, Jr. and wife Georgina; and Veronica Heimer and husband Charles. She is also survived by her sister, Alice McRae; her brother, Johnny Lozano and wife Gracie; and her grandchildren: Aaron Barasa and wife Clarissa, Lucas Moore, Jacob Moore and wife Rachel, Sicily Rios and wife Zoe, Deseree Rios, Briana Cantu and husband Joseph, Priscilla Rios, Nicolas Mauricio and wife Marissa, Samantha Heimer and partner Juan Herrera, and Gabriel Heimer. Her great grandchildren—Arya, Addyson, and Archer Barasa; Marcus Mauricio; and soon to arrive Baby Girl Mauricio. She is further survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends. Linda was a devoted member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, where for nearly 50 years she faithfully participated in the sacraments and served her parish community through various ministries. Her faith was a guiding force in her life. She was deeply proud of her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda loved family gatherings, traveling, and welcoming everyone into her home—where no one ever left hungry. She ruled the kitchen with love, generosity, and unmatched skill. Cancer came for Linda three times, and each time she rose to meet it with faith, courage, and an unwavering will to conquer. Her strength and spirit were nothing short of remarkable and inspiring. Linda’s kindness, compassion, and the beautiful memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. at Dellcrest Funeral Home, 2023 S WW White, 78222. A funeral procession will depart Dellcrest at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, June 19, 2026 for an 11:00 A.M. mass of resurrection at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery.
