Lupe V Kramer born to Alberto Villarreal and Maria Martinez Villarreal passed away July 6, 2026. God‘s hand was stretched out on the morning of July 6, 2026 along with the angels that carried our sweet, loving Mom to heaven as she peacefully slept . She was 98 years old, a very kind, wonderful, loving, generous, keen, independent, smart and faithful woman. She was devoted to God and Saint Christopher. She always blessed us and everyone she met, with the phrase “God and Saint Christopher take care of you.” She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Ridgeway, J. (Paul ) Kramer, her sisters Dolores Gonzales , Susie Chavez, Adelina Barrera, Ralphie Gonzalez. Brothers Alberto Villareal, Pete Villareal and Jacinto Villareal (who both died as babies) parents Alberto Villareal and Maria Martinez Villareal . Mom would sing songs with us, move her shoulders to lively music, play the spelling game and praying together. She would look out the window as we would leave her home to somehow direct us as we were backing out our vehicles for safety. She would also say “call me when you get home”. She was a proud graduate of the class of 1948 at Sidney Lanier High School. She was a member of the Sinfonia club (Symphony,) member of the Ramirez science club, traffic, director, and office assistant. She also attended Durham‘s business college. She met and married dad, Ridgeway J. (Paul ) Kramer during an event at the skating rink at Fort Sam Houston, where dad was stationed. Mom was a hostess there . Dad was from Trenton, N.J. Mom considered him a kind and loving husband. He lovingly called her Lou . Together They had three loving children that were the light of her life son David Vic, daughters, Ellen Sue, and Sandra Sue . She was a good listener, offered comfort and wisdom to us. Everything was made better by just sitting down and talking things over with her. Mom wasn’t fussy about anything. She kept healthy, did her exercises and drank plenty of water. She was wise with finances and managed any obstacles. She taught us early on to budget and save. She taught us to lean on the Lord. She loved sweets and especially colorful, decorated Mother’s Day cakes. She had compassion for animals , enjoyed the beauty of colorful plants and flowers and was always ready to help someone in need. She enjoyed times spent with her children, going to the park or just sitting at the kitchen table. On one occasion during Mom‘s early years, she mentioned she would’ve liked to be a News Anchor . She was proud of her five grandchildren, Sac K. Rocha, David Kramer Jr. , Erica Cruz , Jenny Marie Sotello , John Paul Sotello. She shared with great delight, the love of her five great grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Rocha, Brandon, Eric and Joey Cruz. She will always be remembered as a loving grandma and great - grandma . Rest in peace , you left a legacy of love, kindness, and blessings to everyone . “God and St. Christopher take care of you “ We will always remember your blessing . She is survived by her three loving children, Ellen Sue, Jorge (Ali), David David Vic Kramer (Maggie) Sandra Sue Sotello (Ernest). Her cherished grandchildren, Sac Rocha, Jenny Marie Sotello, John Paul Sotello,Erica Cruz and David Kramer Jr. Her great - grandsons Jack Rocha, Charlie Rocha, Brandon Cruz, Joey Cruz and Eric Cruz. Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence and the lasting impact she had on their lives.
