Martina Aguiano Lu, born in Mexico on September 27th, 1966 was called to her eternal home on September 3rd, 2025 in San Antonio, TX due to advanced lung cancer. She was the beloved daughter of Santiago and Concepcion Anguiano. Martina was the rock of her family both immediate and extended. Those privileged enough to have known her can attest to her strength, resilience and her caring and gentle heart. Her journey in this world was one marked by a great love and support for her family, her perseverance, success and her ability to come through for any who asked for her grace. Her passing has left an immense void in the hearts of all who knew her and the many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that she be remembered for the way that she lived and the profound impact she had on the lives of those she touched. Martina is survived by her adoring family: Her husband Slim and her children Aljon, Allen and Alison. Her grandchildren Adam, Isaiah, Eli, Elena, Leonardo, James and one other whom we have yet to meet. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Santiago and Concepcion Anguiano, her sister Ofelia, sister Sandra, brother Santiago and sister Jessica as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. After her childhood on the family farm in Mexico, Martina found a home in San Antonio, TX where she met her loving husband Slim. Together they built a loving family and a successful business. Having faced many struggles and obstacles along the way, Martina worked tirelessly to provide a beautiful life for her family while growing and managing the family business. Martina was the person that her whole family could come to in times of need and she never shied away from helping any way she could. Her dedication to her parents, siblings, husband and children was unmatched. Martina found great joy in traveling the world with her husband and making her dream home a reality. She enjoyed having dinner every Sunday with her children and grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her parents and enjoyed many fun and amazing moments with her siblings on a regular basis.She will be remembered for her steadfast dedication to her loved ones, her loving generosity, her compassion and for being the cornerstone of the family. The celebration of life service to honor the life of Martina Lu is to be held on September 14th, 2025 at 2:00PM at Iglesia Adventista los Tres Angeles in San Antonio, TX Although Martina’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
