Tributes

It is with great love and profound sadness that we share our dear mother; Marylouise Flores has entered eternal rest on September 3, 2022. She was born April 5, 1932, to the late Louisa (Amaro) Aldaco and Rudolfo G. Aldaco. Mom was an only child and grew up surrounded by the love of her parents and extended family. Her proudest accomplishments in life were the gift of the Lord and her two daughters. She and her late husband Ernest Flores of 48 years gave birth to their oldest daughter Lisa Jane, after being married for 12 years. Two and a half years later she gave birth to their second daughter Deena Louise. Mom enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; family celebrations and supporting her two daughters. Mom is an Honorary Texas Lifetime member of the PTA, which is one of the highest honors that presented to an individual for outstanding service to children and youth. She was also a member of the Thomas Jefferson Band Booster Club. As her grandchildren and great grandchildren were born, she created a special bond with each of them. Mom had special names for each; Felicia is Mi Luz, Clay is Mi Cielo, Caitlin is My Sunshine, Rocco is Mi Corazon, Melody is Mi Muneca, Kelsey is Mi Muchacha, Noah is Comilozo and Lu is Mi Pappasito. She was her grandkids biggest fan, supporting their high school activities at Brandeis and O’Connor. Her evenings and weekends were full of Cheer, Dance Team, Football, Soccer, Pep Squad, and even the Agriculture Club. She also experienced few Texas Tech University football games to support her loved ones. Mom had an incredible commitment to her faith; she had a beautiful gift of treating everyone with respect and making them smile. God blessed us with her grace on this earth for 90 years. She is preceded in death by her father Rudolfo G. Aldaco, mother Louisa A. Aldaco, and the love of her life, husband Ernest Flores. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, Daughter, Lisa J. Thornewell and Husband, Kevin, Deena L. Paccione and Husband Leonardo, Grandchildren; Felicia, Clay R., Rocco, Caitlin R., Melody, Noah, Kelsey, and great grandson Lucian. As well as numerous nieces and nephews and family members she dearly loved. Pallbearers will be: Clay Ramos, Felicia Paccione, Rocco Paccione, Caitlin Ramos, Melody Paccione and Kelsey Thornewell.
