Mary Margaret Gee(Mrs. William A. Gee Sr.) born in Little Rock, AR, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 11th at the age of 88. She was surrounded by her children in the final days of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill(10/9/90) and her son Greg(3/1/17). She is survived by her sons Andy(Cindy) and Steve Gee and daughter Karen(Tony) Ianno as well as her grandchildren Coby(Blair) and Shane(fiancée Randyl Cooley) Gee, and Sean, Joshua, Nicholas and Chelsea Ianno. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Bob Gee, Jim(Betty)Gee and nephew David(Allison)Gee and nieces Melaney Gee and Amanda(Phillip)Walrod. Mary Margaret married Bill on October 4, 1952. Bill had been with Southwestern Bell for 42 years moving them to many different cities including Little Rock, Searcy, West Memphis, El Dorado, Rogers and Ft. Smith, AR as well as Enid, OK, Beaumont and Victoria Tx. and finally settled in San Antonio, Tx. in 1969. She was a 50 year member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at University of Arkansas and served in the Alumni Association and the Mother’s Club in San Antonio. She was selected as the Kappa Alpha First Sweetheart in 1951. She was an active member of Woodlawn Christian Church, San Antonio since 1970 serving as CWF President for 4 years, a Deacon for many years, Board Chairman multiple years and a Trustee for 1 year and was in charge of the Christmas Tree for many years. Mary Margaret loved the many hours she spent watching her children play sports serving as score keeper for Little League baseball for many years, team mother and always being her children’s biggest fan. She spent countless hours volunteering at her children’s schools as room mother, Booster Club member and selling football tickets in high school. Mary Margaret loved to play bridge and played with some of the same ladies for more than 45 years. She enjoyed spending time at the lake house, dancing and taking gambling trips. Her favorite thing was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
