Mary Browning Kolls of Brownwood and San Antonio, after a long illness, passed this life to begin her eternal life with Jesus Christ on the 7th of September 2012. She was born December 27, 1937 in Bald Knob, AR. Mary was 74 years, 8 months and 11 days of age. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Lee and Opal Lewis, of Little Rock, Arkansas, three brothers, Rev. Glenn Lewis, Dr. Norman Lewis, and Dr. Bill H. Lewis of Arkansas, and her first husband George C. Browning, Jr. of San Antonio. She is survived by her second husband, Robert L. Kolls of Brownwood and San Antonio; three children, Anthony J. Browning of Arlington, Christi M. Neese and her husband Todd, and Amy Sue Mora and her husband Patrick, of San Antonio; two step-children, R. Dale Kolls and his wife Shannon of Lorena, TX and Cheryl J. Dowell of Aztec, New Mexico; twelve grandchildren; Giorgia Mora Solomon and her husband Stuart, Daniel Johnson, Savannah Mora, Nicholas Johnson, Luke Mora, Sophia Mora and Julia Mora all of San Antonio. Stephen Kolls and Kimberly Kolls of Lorena, TX, Clayton Dowell of Tempe, Arizona, and Lasly Dowell of Aztec, New Mexico. She is also survived by four brothers, Dr. Robert Lewis and his wife Leona of California, Maurice Lewis and his wife Betty, Roy Lewis and his wife Ruth of Arkansas, Dr. Paul Lewis and his wife Ann of New Mexico, and two sisters, Carolyn Bobo and her husband Mitchell of Arkansas, and Connie Renfro and her husband Jack of Ft. Worth; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kolls was a loving wife and mother who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and showed this love throughout her life. After Jesus Christ, her love of family was the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching things grow. When she was able she was an active member of her local church and participated as a student and leader in Bible Study Fellowship both in San Antonio and Abilene. Service Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with Pastor Randy Bales officiating. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
