Minnie S Camarillo, 87 years old of San Antonio Texas went to be with the Lord on April 1st 2026. She was surrounded by her loving children. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was born on April 7th, 1938 in Tynan, TX. Our mom went to be with our dad after 69 years of marriage. Minnie is survived by her children Robert( Amy) Manuel jr., Willie (Eileen), and Diana. Her grandchildren Everett, Liza, Jennifer, William, Nicholas, and Kara, Jun and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Eva Amaya, Roberto Amaya. Her husband Manuel G. Camarillo, her daughter-in-law Irma L. Camarillo and Grandson Manuel Camarillo III. Minnie was a kind and generous person always talking to strangers and telling everyone "hi". Although Minnie was a funny lady she could never get through a full joke without laughing she was kind and generous she was never judgmental and was always there for her family and friends when needed. Minnie had a green thumb and could bring the saddest plant back to life. She enjoyed dancing with her "Dadito" and loved a good Cumbia. She enjoyed family gatherings and a good game of Loteria. She enjoyed telling stories of the past and really loved playing the slot machines and could play for hours! Minnie worked at a very young age to help her mother and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Minnie started working at Buddy's Ceveletos in the bakery and later was promoted to cashier because she was always so friendly. She worked there for several years then worked at Handy Dan Lumber Company. Later she started volunteering as a bus driver for St Lawrence CCD. Once she got more experience driving a bus she later worked for Harlandale ISD as a school bus driver for 25 years and later retired so she could spend more time with her husband. Minnie was devoted to her family and always showed so much love for them. When her husband died she was strong but sad. Although we know she loved her family very much we know she loved and missed her husband and needed to be with him in heaven. The sky has gained another star...
