Foster-Frye Our precious Mama is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior rejoicing with the loved ones gone before her. On August 8, 1923 we were blessed with Minola Mickey Foster Frye and on the morning of July 28, 2004 the angels surrounded our loving and gentle mother and took her home. Rejoicing in heaven with Minola are W. Milton and Ola Foster, her beloved parents; brother Tyson Foster; sister Alta Lee Petty; childhood sweetheart and husband of 56 years, Roy Frye Sr; and her precious son Roy Lee Frye Jr. Minola leaves behind many friends and family that will cherish and honor her memory. Her daughters, Bonnie Winters and husband Charles; Sherry Tynell Higdon, Tracy Frye, and adopted daughter Angie Huntington. Her beloved grandchildren will continue her legacy of gentle, unconditional love for generations to come. Chad Frye, Casey Arce, Kristen Winters, Tara Rowland, Jordan and Jacob Brown, Madison Minola Higdon and five great grandchildren. Brother and sister in laws: Emil and Dorothy Frye and Dewitt and Velma Peel, and beloved niece Janet Elliot. Numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent care our mother received from Odyssey Hospice and the compassion and support from DeAnca Woolridge, RN. Also Dr. Stephen Kalter, C.T.R.C., whose expertise and personal attention extended our mothers time with us for many beautiful years filled with love and laughter. All the prayers and visits from those she held so dear will always be treasured by her family. We thank you, Mama, for instilling Gods love in each of us. We will continue Gods plan for us without your presence, but with your spirit guiding us. We love you. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Odyssey Health Care or Cancer Therapy Research Center. Viewing for Minola will be at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South on Thursday, evening, July 29, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Friday July 30, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. also at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with interment to follow at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet, TX.
