Our beloved Natividad C. Rocha was born on September 8, 1921 in Buda, TX and was called to our Father in heaven on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 102. He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Ciro & Maria Rocha; his son, John Anthony Rocha and numerous brothers and sisters. Natividad is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Maria Ofelia Rocha; daughters Connie Granado and husband Robert, Terry Reyes and husband Enrique, Maria Pattison & husband Brett, Sylvia Segura & husband Max, Linda McGraw, Amy Tristan & husband Paul, Rachel Rocha and husband Fausto Hernandez; sons Natividad Rocha Jr. & wife Irene, Richard Rocha & wife Maricela, Rudy Rocha and wife Sally. He has 39 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, as an Auxiliary Tech and was tasked with guarding Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. He spoke enthusiastically while recounting his time in the military. Oh, how he would love to tell his military stories! He was very proud of his country and being a Veteran. He took pride in wearing his WWII cap and would get so happy when random people thanked him for his service. Upon his return from serving in the military, he married Maria Ofelia, with whom he created a love-filled family. The love he held in his heart for her was felt by all that came to know them. He loved having her by his side until he took his last breath. He built a trucking company from scratch and held that entrepreneurial spirit throughout his life. It was part of his legacy that was passed on. He was a hardworking man and didn’t retire until the age of 80. Natividad was a man of faith, and he believed there is good in all of us. He prayed with conviction to God that He protect his loved ones. He served as an usher at the Our Lady of Angels Church for many years and kept his Catholic faith strong throughout his life. This was evident by the way he treated others, the relationships he built over his lifetime and the values he instilled in his family. Being a Dad gave him immense pride, to which he always made sure his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, knew he loved them. He imparted his wisdom on all of us. He had the voice of a mariachi, loved to sing, and had the best gritos. While he is truly missed, we take solace in knowing he is walking with our Lord, singing, and laughing with a full restoration of his health in heaven. He leaves a beautiful legacy with which we will proudly carry on. Hasta que nos volvemos a encontrar, mucho amor, Papasito. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Granado, Christopher Sotelo, Nat Rocha III, David Jeff Rocha, Sam Canales, Nicolas Rocha, Joseph Gonzales, Daniel Tristan and Gabino De La Zerda.
